Does my game save automatically?
Yes. Idle Squishy saves on its own every few seconds and whenever you leave the app, all on your device. There's nothing to do.
Do my squishies earn while the app is closed?
They do! When you come back you'll get a "Welcome back" payday for the time you were away (up to a few hours' worth).
Does it need the internet?
No. Idle Squishy is 100% offline — no account, no sign-in, no connection required. Play anywhere.
How do I switch between Light and Dark?
Tap the gear in the top bar and choose System, Light, or Dark under Theme.
How do I turn the sound or tap particles off?
Open Settings (gear) — there are toggles for sound effects and click particles.
What is "Ascending" / prestige?
Once you've earned enough, ascending resets your run in exchange for Squish Crystals that permanently boost all future production. It's how you go faster, long-term.
Can I move my progress to another device?
Your progress saves automatically on the device you play on. It isn't synced across devices yet, and reinstalling the app starts a fresh game. (Cross-device sync may come in a future update.)
I want to start over.
Settings (gear) → Hard Reset wipes everything back to a fresh game. (It can't be undone, so export first if you're unsure.)
Privacy
Idle Squishy collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Your game progress is stored only on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
